Justin vows to save Britney's pop career

Justin Timberlake and producer Timbaland are desperate to collaborate with Britney Spears to save her pop career.

Timbaland - real name Timothy Mosley - has produced hits like Timberlake's 'SexyBack' and Nelly Furtado's 'Maneater' in recent times, and is keen to sprinkle some of his musical magic on Spears.

He told Entertainment Weekly: "I feel her pain, it really bothers me. I'm the type of person who tries to save the world. I just want to take her away, go overseas, and work (it) out."

"I asked Justin, 'How would you feel about me working with Britney?' I had to ask him that. I said, 'Would you do it with me?'"

According to Timbaland, Timberlake agreed, saying: "She's just gotta be serious."
