Usher has announced that he is engaged to his longtime girlfriend Tameka Foster.

The 'Yeah!' singer, whose full name is Usher Raymond VI, has been dating the stylist for just over a year.

No date has been set for the wedding, but in recent interviewers Usher has hinted that he hopes to be married by the end of the year.

He previously dated supermodel Naomi Campbell and TLC singer Chilli.
