Bloom to make West End debut

Orlando Bloom will make his West End debut in the near future, according to reports.

The Pirates Of The Carribean actor is to play a role in David Storey's The Contractor. The 1969 drama is set for a stage revival under the direction of Anna Mackmin.

Bloom has a history of stage acting, having attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, but is yet to appear in a West End production.
