Johnny Knoxville is to be sued

Johnny Knoxville is to be sued by an actor who claims to have been neglected payment for a stunt that he performed.

Perry Caravello is attempting to sue the Jackass actor, talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and radio star Adam Corolla for $10.5 million (£5.3 million) after they allegedly promised him $10 million to put his genitals in a mousetrap.

The incident then later appeared on the internet, whilst Caravello has reportedly not been paid.

Legal papers filed at the Supreme Court in LA said that the actor "agreed to [partake in the stunt]and, much to his emotional tranquillity and to his physical harm, was severely injured when the trap literally went on his manhood".

Caravello is also contending that the stunt was filmed without his permission.
