A selection of items found in Paris Hilton's rubbish bins, including a can of gourmet dog food, have been sold on the internet auction site eBay.

The sellers, who were from HollywoodStarTrash.com, listed several items on the site, claiming to be from The Simple Life star's refuse.

The tin of dog food, which fetched $305 in auction, was produced by Party Animal Inc, and is sold in nearly 200 outlets across Southern California and New York.

Other items included a used toothbrush sold for $305, two envelopes sent to her during her stint in jail for $510, and a used Coke can, purchased for $51.
