Paris Hilton celebrated being a free woman during a night out with friends on Saturday.
The hotel heiress enjoyed shots of vodka and tequila at Los Angeles nightclub Area, where she also flouted California's smoking ban by lighting up indoors. Hilton danced the night away with pals, getting particularly excited and climbing on a chair when Britney Spears hit Toxic was played.
"I'm so happy to be out and back with my friends," Paris told reporters for The Mirror at the club. "I feel amazing."
Hilton claimed that she was turning her back on partying after she served time in jail last month. In an interview, she said: "I'm frankly sick of it... I've been going out for a long time now. Yeah, it's fun, but it's not going to be the mainstay of my life any more."
A waiter at the club remarked: "We were all saying it wouldn't be long before she was back to her old self but even we're surprised it's been so soon. Nothing's gonna stop her - not even jail."
