Sharon Osbourne sparks family feud

Sharon Osbourne has sparked a family feud by ignoring the wishes of her deceased father.

Music mogul Don Arden, who passed away on July 21 at the age of 81, had always told his family members that he wanted to be buried alongside his wife Hope, at a small Surrey churchyard. However, last week Sharon organised for Arden to be laid to rest close to his mother Sarah at a Manchester cemetery.

Many of the X Factor judge's family members are believed to be furious with her decision, and some have claimed that it shows Sharon never fully forgave her father when they reconciled. Osbourne did not speak to Don for twenty years, but resumed regular contact when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2002.

A family friend told the News of the World: "If Don's looking down from heaven now, he'll be absolutely distraught. No one can understand why Sharon did this. She knew how much it meant to her dad. Their long-running row was meant to have been healed five years ago but this just shows she still holds a grudge. Other members of the family aren't happy about this at all."
