Spears's lawyer wants to quit?

Britney Spears's lawyer reportedly wants to drop the singer over her custody wrangle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

According to TMZ.com, attorney Laura Wasser has said she no longer wants to represent the troubled star as she only signed on to help with her divorce.

Wasser - who has previously worked with Nick Lachey and Angelina Jolie - has given Spears details of other lawyers to help in her high-profile battle to keep custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The 'Toxic' star was reportedly spotted leaving Wasser's office in tears on Wednesday after a meeting to discuss her case.
