The breakfast show DJ was presenting the show held at Brompton Hall, West London and he openly joked about the fact that many musicians had chosen to attend the MOBO Awards, which were also taking place yesterday, instead.
After Oasis failed to turn up to collect their Best DVD gong, Moyles said: "They're not here, they'll be at the f****** MOBOs."
Amy Winehouse, who won awards at both the MOBOs and at the Vodafone event, sent the landlord from her local pub to collect her Best Live Female gong, after choosing to attend and perform at the MOBOs.
On collecting the award, the landlord of The Hawley Arms commented: "We'll be putting it behind the bar."
Another no-show came from The Gossip, who won the Best Live Impact 2007 title, with the presenter of the award, Bo Selecta star Leigh Francis, telling the audience: "The singer of The Gossip is at WeightWatchers right now."
