Elton, Beckham offer homes to Spears

Sir Elton John and Victoria Beckham have become the latest celebrities to offer their homes as a retreat for troubled singer Britney Spears.

The popstar, who attended rehab earlier this year and faces losing her two sons, has been told that she can use Sir Elton's place to hide away from the media frenzy surrounding her.

A source told Metro: "Elton has been watching Britney spiralling out of control over the past few years. He has decided enough is enough and reckons he has plenty of experience in the business to help her.

"He feels so sorry for her because she had fame at such a young age and hasn't handled it well."

Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has also reportedly offered Spears a helping hand and has asked their mutual friend, choreographer Adam Shankman, to set up a meeting between them so that she can try and help her out.

Spears is currently having to undergo random weekly alcohol and drug tests as part of her joint custody agreement with ex-husband Kevin Federline for their sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
