Actress Mary-Kate Olsen has been heard spreading the word of God while attending New York's Beatrice Inn on a night out with her sister.

A source told the New York Daily News: "Mary-Kate grabbed a male admirer and cried, 'Christ saves all! I save all!'

"Then she ruffled his hair, gave him a kiss on the cheek and told him, 'Consider yourself saved!'. He looked totally stunned and stumbled off."

Olsen has just landed in a role in the US drama Weeds, as a character who lives in a strong Christian community as a marijuana smoker.
