Garner: Affleck should be hands-on dad

Jennifer Garner has claimed that it's only right that Ben Affleck take a hands-on approach to being a father.

The actress said she was shocked at the press attention her husband gets for being involved in the upbringing of their daughter Violet.

Garner told Gotham: "It's funny that the man is always applauded for it. It's like, 'You change diapers?' You'd better change diapers. We're not in the '50s, buddy!"

The Hollywood star has also revealed that Affleck is her daughter's favourite person to play with, commenting: "Violet prefers him to anyone. He's a teddy bear of a guy. Nothing makes me happier than to see the two of them together and her little hands on his face."
