Winehouse unable to visit husband in jail

Amy Winehouse has been refused permission to see her husband in jail.

The singer was told that Blake Fielder-Civil's mother had taken his only permitted visit for that day when she called at London's Pentonville Prison to see him.

Fielder-Civil is in police custody after being charged with perverting the course of justice following his arrest last week. He faces claims that he tried to pay off a barman who accused him and friend Michael Brown of causing GBH with intent.

The couple's parents are reportedly blaming each other for their children's problems and communication between them has broken down.

A source told The Sun: "Things are very bad between Blake's and Amy's family. Amy is struggling to talk to his parents. They are not taking any of her calls.

"Amy was devastated when she heard Blake's mum booked herself in for the jail visit as Amy was desperate to see him. She went to the prison anyway but was told she couldn't come in."

She added: "Blake has been calling his mum from prison, blaming everyone but himself. To his mum, Blake can do nothing wrong."
