Sienna Miller and Rhys Ifans are reportedly planning to record a duet in the style of indie rockers Oasis.

Miller, who is currently dating the Notting Hill star, has always wanted to be a singer and now Ifans has encouraged her to record with him.

A source told the Daily Express: "Rhys really likes Oasis, particularly Noel Gallagher, so that's the kind of music he would like to make.

"Sienna really enjoys singing and always wanted to be a rock star. Rhys has been very encouraging and convinced her to do something about pursuing her dreams."

Ifans was in the original lineup of the Super Furry Animals and has recently gone back to the recording studio with drummer Dafydd Ieuan. He previously appeared in Oasis' music video for 'The Importance of Being Idle'.
