Lachey marries in secret ceremony

Nick Lachey and MTV presenter Vanessa Minnillo have tied the knot in a secret ceremony, according to reports.

The pair, who have been dating for 18 months, are believed to have married in front of friends and family in the Bahamas last weekend.

A source said: "Vanessa's entourage of hair and makeup artists and dressers arrived at the secret location on Friday to prepare for the wedding."

But Lachey's spokesperson dismissed the reports, saying: "Nick was in his hometown of Cincinnati last weekend working on his new NBC show Clash of the Choirs, as well as another show he is producing for MTV."

The 34-year-old's ex-wife Jessica Simpson filed for divorce in 2005 and is currently dating American footballer Tony Romo.

However, a family friend recently claimed that Simpson regrets the couple's split.
