The ITV star met Ashman at the Secretary of State for Wales Peter Hain's St David's Day party last year at Westminster Palace.
The pair got engaged in December while on holiday in Tanzania and tied the knot on Sunday in the Gwynedd village of Portmeirion, where 1960s show The Prisoner was filmed.
Actor Stifyn Parri, who attended the ceremony, said: "It was a small and beautifully-formed affair. There was a lot of laughter. We had a ball."
He added: "Because she's Lloyd and he's Ashman, I've started calling them the LA couple."
