Speight 'no longer murder suspect'

Children's TV presenter Mark Speight has had his bail cancelled after he was rejected as a murder suspect over the death of his fiancée.

Natasha Collins, 31, was found in the bath of the home she shared with the SMart host in St John's Wood, north-west London, last Thursday.

Speight was arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying Class A drugs, and released on bail until February.

However, police said a man in his 40s who was arrested at the scene had now had his bail over murder cancelled, although he was still on bail on suspicion of supplying drugs.

Yesterday's inquest into the death heard that it was being treated as "non-suspicious at this stage", but investigations are ongoing.

A post-mortem examination has also proved "inconclusive".

Speight, who met Collins while filming BBC children's show See It Saw It, has denied any involvement in her death.
