Mariah claims Lopez feud is rubbish

Mariah Carey has claimed that rumours she is feuding with Jennifer Lopez are untrue.

The singer was alleged to have said she would prefer to sing onstage with a dog than with Lopez, but Carey has described the reports as mere "internet gossip" and "a complete untruth".

She told People magazine: "This is just some internet gossip and it's pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real.

"This is another sad example of two strong women being pit against each other."
