Holmes: 'I'm happy for pregnant Nicole'

Katie Holmes has sent her congratulations to husband Tom Cruise's ex-wife Nicole Kidman about her recent pregnancy news.

Kidman was married to Cruise for ten years until they divorced in 2001 and they have two adopted children together.

The Golden Compass actress has since married country singer Keith Urban and the pair announced that they are expecting their first child together earlier this week.

Holmes, who has a daughter with Cruise, said she was pleased for Kidman, saying: "I'm so happy for her. It's wonderful."

It has recently been rumoured that Cruise and Holmes are consulting a fertility expert so that they can try for another baby themselves.
