Ashlee Simpson 'advised to dump Wentz'

Ashlee Simpson has been advised to dump her boyfriend Pete Wentz, according to a report.

OK! magazine claims that Simpson's father Joe has told her that a reality dating show would be the perfect way to promote her forthcoming album Bittersweet World.

A source revealed: "He wants Ashlee to break up with Pete."

Speaking about the proposed show, the insider added: "It will put 14 guys in a house and they will compete to date Ashlee."

Simpson recently denied rumours that she was engaged to the Fall Out Boy bassist.
