Victoria and David clash over in-laws

Victoria and David Beckham still have a tense relationship with each other's families, a report claims.

Posh Spice recently refused to accompany her husband to see his father in Essex, despite flying to the UK to see him after his heart attack last year.

Now magazine claims that she is still upset with Ted for writing a biography of David without telling him in 2005.

A source said: "Ted is as stubborn as Victoria and doesn't see why he has to suck up to his daughter-in-law. Relations are as frosty now as they've ever been and it doesn't look like there's any chance of them being repaired."

Victoria and David are also rumoured to have clashed over the fact that her family all work for the couple, while David's relatives have reportedly never asked for money.

The source added: "This has created many an argument in the past. David has been at his wits' end on several occasions. During one heated exchange, he turned to Victoria and asked: 'Why do your family always want something off us?'

"As quick as a flash, Victoria said: 'At least none of them has sold their story to the press or written books about us.'"
