'Ugly Betty' star joins 'Spamalot' cast

Ugly Betty star Alan Dale has joined the cast of Monty Python musical Spamalot.

Dale, who has starred in US TV shows Lost, The West Wing, 24 and The OC, found fame playing Jim Robinson in Aussie soap Neighbours between 1985-92.

He will appear at the London Palace Theatre from March 3 in the role of King Arthur in the comic theatre production, reports London Theatre.

The TV star follows in the footsteps of Tim Curry, Simon Russell Beale and Peter Davison, who have all appeared as King Arthur.
