Cole 'made calls to Page 3 model'

Ashley Cole made a series of late-night calls to Page 3 model Jakki Degg after he married Cheryl Cole, according to a report today.

The footballer had reportedly been desperate for a date with Jakki when he was single, pursuing her for three years.

"He was with Arsenal at the time," a friend of Jakki told The Sun. "He was suggestive and flirting but she just wasn't interested.

"She just put it down to Ashley being Ashley and brushed off his advances. He's a naughty boy and always will be. He's one of those blokes who can't help himself.”

Ashley married Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole in 2006, but even this did not stop his continued contact with Jakki.

"He'd phone her in the middle of the night and talk for hours," the source added. "The calls carried on for a few months. She hasn't heard from him recently."

Ashley was accused of cheating on Cheryl with a woman called Aimee Walton last week. Glamour model Brooke Healy then came forward and claimed that the Chelsea star had also been unfaithful with her.
