Cage: 'My wife taught me to be happy'

Nicolas Cage has revealed that his new wife has made him happier than ever before.

The National Treasure: Book Of Secrets star met Korean-born Alice Kim, 24, when she waited on him in a sushi restaurant in LA.

They married in 2004 after five months of dating and now have two-year-old son Kal-El.

Cage is quoted in The Mirror as saying: "I've spent a lot of time in my life not really feeling happy or at peace with myself. But with Alice, I found the woman who was able to make me see things more clearly.

"She was so cool and easy-going and made me realise how ridiculous my life had been. I wasn't focusing on important things and I was getting caught up in the whole celebrity lifestyle. Now my family is everything to me."

He added: "My priorities have changed. I've never experienced so much joy as I am feeling now - even when I'm changing diapers!"

The 44-year-old was previously married to Patricia Arquette and Lisa Marie Presley.

He recently revealed that the movie industry has made him "reclusive".
