Klass conceived baby after 'I'm A Celeb'

Myleene Klass has claimed that her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... was responsible for the birth of her baby daughter.

The TV presenter conceived six-month-old Ava with boyfriend Graham Quinn just an hour after leaving the jungle in December 2006.

In an extract in The Sun from her new book My Bump & Me, she said: "Gray and I had just one hour to spend together from the time I left the jungle to when I had to start work again - and we were determined to use it properly."

She revealed that Quinn had followed her into the shower while she was getting ready for a round of interviews, adding: "There were dozens of journalists and television executives milling about nearby but, as it had been almost two months since we'd spent any time together, we decided to seize our moment.

"Gray was not even supposed to be in Australia as he was due to be working on a band’s tour. I had missed him so much and was very emotional when I left the jungle thinking he wasn't going to be there.

"But when all the filming was finished, I crossed that famous bridge and saw him. It was a real Mills & Boon moment. We went running into each other’s arms and Gray told me how much he had missed me and how he wanted us to get our act together and get married."

Klass recently signed a deal to launch her own line of baby clothes for Mothercare.
