Sean 'Diddy' Combs is to move to Hollywood to focus on becoming a movie star.

The hip-hop mogul said he wants to play an action hero and film love scenes with as many beautiful actresses as possible.

He told the New York Daily News: "I'd like to be based in Hollywood. I want to do leading man kind of stuff. You know, jumping off buildings and things like that.

"I would also like to do roles where I make love to beautiful women. Films with very emotional, heart-wrenching scenes."

The rapper previously appeared opposite Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau in 2001 comedy Made, as well as 2002 drama Monster's Ball with Halle Berry.

He also starred in a TV adaptation of Walter Lee Younger's play A Raisin in the Sun last year after playing the part on Broadway in 2004.

He recently pleaded with young people in the US to vote in the forthcoming presidential elections.
