The singer takes to the stage in a West End production of Les Miserables in new ITV2 show The Passions Of... Girls Aloud, which sees the band fulfilling their ambitions.
She said: "At the moment, my heart's completely in Girls Aloud and I think we're all seeing it as 'we'll just take the journey as far as it will go', but obviously it's going to end at some point and we're all going to want to try and carry on working and I think that's definitely something that I'd really enjoy doing."
However, she added that the show had made her appreciate how hard musical stars work, saying: "They do eight shows a week, so they only have one day off and some days they do more than one show and it's a three-hour long show. It's not an easy job at all, but I think if you love something enough you really enjoy it."
The series also sees Sarah Harding play polo in Argentina, Nicola Roberts launch a makeup range and Cheryl Cole learn street dancing in LA.
Nadine Coyle pulled out of the programme last November, claiming that she was "not really into reality things".
The Passions of... Girls Aloud airs at 10pm on March 14 on ITV2.
