Amy's dad worries about her mental state

Amy Winehouse's father has admitted that he is worried about her current state of mind.

The troubled singer has sparked fears that she is self-harming again after she was spotted with a number of slashes on her left arm.

Cab driver Mitch Winehouse confirmed that he has confronted Amy about the injuries, but she has refused to discuss the matter.

"I saw the cuts and told Amy that her arm didn't look good," Mitch told the News of the World. "But she just said, 'It's nothing'. Amy is not as responsive as we would like. It is worrying. It's a very painful situation."

Friends claim that Amy is depressed following a series of rows with her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who is facing charges of GBH and attempting to fix a trial.

Yesterday it was reported that Blake had asked Amy to fund his drug habit while he is locked away in Pentonville prison.
