Bailey Rae husband death inquest opens

Leeds Coroner's Court is to open an inquest into the death of Corinne Bailey Rae's husband.

Jason Rae, the saxophonist for the band The Haggis Horns, was found dead from a suspected drugs overdose last weekend.

A post-mortem proved inconclusive and West Yorkshire Police are now waiting for results from a toxicology test.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying Jason Rae with drugs but was released on bail pending further enquiries.

Bailey Rae met her husband while she was working as a cloakroom attendant at a Leeds jazz club. The couple married in 2001.

Rae's funk band The Haggis Horns have played with Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson and Bailey Rae. They recently released a critically acclaimed debut album titled Hot Damn!
