Girls Aloud want to make a movie

Girls Aloud have revealed that they want to make a movie if they can find the right script.

The band said they are keen to appear on the big screen but have been offered some terrible screenplays.

Kimberley Walsh is quoted as saying: "We want it to be a Friends and Sex And The City kind of thing, all morphed into one."

Nicola Roberts added: "We've been given a lot of dodgy scripts - they were all awful. One was a horror film where we would have been running through the woods in our underwear."

The bandmates filmed a cameo in last year's St Trinian's remake, while Sarah Harding has been tipped to star alongside Russell Brand in a new Carry On movie.
