Pete Doherty has reportedly been evicted from his country mansion after his landlord objected to the state of the property.

The singer is currently serving a 14-week jail sentence for breaking the terms of his probation in connection with drugs offences.

His landlord is said to be disgusted at the condition of the nine-bedroom home in Marlborough, Wiltshire after paying a visit in his tenant's absence.

According to The Mirror, he found human blood sprayed on the walls and nine cats roaming the house.

A source said: "[Pete] destroyed the place by scribbling on the walls, the floor, anywhere he felt like it. The beautiful curtains were ripped down and his cats are just running around abandoned.

"It's a pathetic state of affairs. No one in their right mind is going to rent him a property after what he did."

Doherty was recently moved to a segregated area of London's Wormwood Scrubs prison after fellow prisoners allegedly plotted to attack him.
