Cyrus inspired by 'Sex And The City'

Miley Cyrus wants her show Hannah Montana to be more like Sex And The City.

The 15-year-old plays a schoolgirl with a secret life as a famous popstar in the Disney Channel hit, which is aimed at girls between the ages of six and 14.

However, she said she is a huge fan of the more adult Sex And The City and attempts to incorporate elements of the programme into her own series.

WENN quotes her as saying: "Obviously not the scenarios. But, if you watch Sex And The City, like the way the friends are, the way that it's dry and they all have distinct characters - that's a thing we try to do on our show. It's my favourite show. I love it!"

It was announced earlier this month that Hannah Montana will return for a third season.

Cyrus recently apologised after a topless photoshoot for Vanity Fair magazine sparked outrage in the US.
