Mills, McCartney divorce finalised

Sir Paul McCartney's divorce from Heather Mills has been finalised.

Mr. Justice Bennett pronounced a decree nisi at the High Court in London this morning on the grounds that the couple have lived apart for two years.

Mills was awarded £24.3 million from the ex-Beatle's fortune in March.

Neither party attended today's hearing and the decree will be made absolute in six weeks' time.

It was recently reported that McCartney is planning to take his former wife on a 14-month tour with him.
