William Shatner has admitted that he is more frightened of death in his old age.
The veteran actor, 77, claimed he found the "odds" of him passing worrying.
"Death frightens me very much," Shatner told People. "The unknown and the nothingness of it. I'd rather not know I was going to go.
"No matter what age you are, you are liable to die. But the older you get, the odds go up that it's going to be very soon. It's not going to be very long."
Despite his age, the former Star Trek star confessed that he currently has no plans to retire from showbusiness.
He said: "I'm not going anywhere. They'll have to carry me out...and film it."
