Ford: 'I'm gentle to autograph hunters'

Harrison Ford has revealed that he welcomes approaches from autograph hunters - even those who are pushy.

The Hollywood actor said that he only ever refuses to sign items for fans if they interrupt him in the toilets.

"For autograph hunters, I'm as gentle as a lamb," Ford told the Daily Star. "I even give autographs when people interrupt me having lunch. Only when I stand right in front of the urinal you shouldn't ask for an autograph. And when I'm having sex!"

The 65-year-old also admitted that he enjoys his flying hobby so much because it helps him to escape the public glare.

"Since my youth I loved to ride a bike, but I lost interest in my late 40s," he explained. "Fortunately, I found a new challenge some years later - flying. High above the sky, life is brought into perspective. Up there I'm anonymous. It's the best relaxation!"

Ford's new movie, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, hits cinemas in the UK on May 22.
