Simon Cowell cuts back on alcohol

Simon Cowell has decided to cut back on his alcohol intake because he is worried about developing a beer belly.

According to Cowell's Britain's Got Talent co-star Piers Morgan, the music mogul has started drinking Diet Coke rather than beer after a long day of judging auditions for the ITV1 reality series.

"After the show we normally go and chat in the green room," Piers told the Daily Star Sunday. "The conversation usually involves me tormenting Simon, him tormenting me and Amanda [Holden] either laughing or crying. I have a glass of wine but Simon's always on Diet Coke because he's thinking about his potential for 'Torso of the Week' in Heat mag."

A show insider added: "Simon is very conscious about his appearance. You just have to look at his bright white teeth to see that."
