BAFTA



Formed in 1947 with headquarters on Piccadilly in central London, BAFTA is an independent charity which "supports, promotes and develops the art forms of the moving image".

BAFTA honours outstanding achievement in film, TV and gaming with annual awards ceremonies each year. 2014's key awards ceremony timetable was as follows:

February 16: BAFTA Film Awards, hosted by Stephen Fry;
March 12: BAFTA Games Awards, hosted by Dara Ă“ Briain;
April 27: BAFTA TV Craft Awards, hosted by Stephen Mangan;
May 12: BAFTA Television Awards, hosted by Graham Norton.
