Stereophonics perform at Rooney wedding

Coleen McLoughlin booked Stereophonics to perform a secret gig at her wedding to Wayne Rooney, say reports.

According to The Sun, Rooney is a huge fan of the Welsh rockers and their show was a surprise gift from his new wife.

Singer Kelly Jones and guitarist Richard Jones performed a 45-minute set for guests at the reception.

"They blew everybody away and Wayne was simply gobsmacked," said a source. "Stereophonics are one of his favourite bands - he looked like he’d won the Lottery."

The celebrations, which were held at the La Cervara Abbey in Portofino, Italy, reportedly went on until 4am.
