Rooney wants "three or four children"

Wayne Rooney has revealed that he wants "three or four children" with wife Coleen McLoughlin.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Rooney commented that he was eager to start a family, saying: "I'm from a big family so I like the idea of that. I'd like three or four if we could."

McLoughlin also stated her desire to have a family, but said she wants to wait until she has her first child before making any decisions about more.

"I'd like a big family but I think until you've had one child, you can't really tell how many you would like," she said.

Rooney and McLoughlin's wedding reportedly has "no validity" after the couple married in a monastery that was not eligible to hold a Catholic ceremony.
