She recently admitted to emailing Obama, saying: "I feel like I'm supporting someone and having a personal dialogue with them, and it's amazing."
However, a source told the New York Daily News that the actress does not have a crush on the Democratic candidate.
"She is a surrogate [Obama campaigner]. They're not exchanging love letters. Everyone seems to be forgetting that she's engaged," the source said. "Kal Penn [actor and Obama supporter] is also a surrogate, and no one says he has a crush on Obama."
