Amy Winehouse taken to hospital

Amy Winehouse is undergoing tests in hospital after fainting at her London home.

The singer was "doing admin" when she passed out this afternoon, her publicist Tracey Miller revealed.

Her manager's assistant managed to stop her hitting the ground and dad Mitch then took her to the London Clinic in Marylebone.

Miller added that doctors are currently unsure of the cause of the incident.

Winehouse may be kept in hospital overnight for observation "as a precaution".
