Hilton banned from buying puppy

Paris Hilton was turned away from a pet store in LA at the weekend.

Staff at The Puppy Store on Melrose Avenue objected to Hilton purchasing a dog to accompany her in a photoshoot.

According to the the New York Post, workers did not believe that she would look after the animal once the shoot was over.

"[She] wanted a puppy in the picture with her so it would look cuter," said a source.

When she was told she could not have the dog, Hilton allegedly went "ballistic" and started screaming.
