Hathaway splits from long-term love

Anne Hathaway has split from her long-term boyfriend after he was involved in a series of scandals, reports claim.

The Devil Wears Prada actress called time on her four-year relationship with Raffaello Follieri over the weekend.

Hathaway is said to have made the decision after the businessman's charity Follieri Foundation - of which she used to be a director - was revealed to be under investigation by the New York State Attorney General's Office.

A source told the Daily Mail: "It's heartbreaking for her to dump him and she's devastated that it's come to this, but she really didn't have a choice. His scandals were hurting her reputation."

The couple were reported to have split for a brief spell last year after Follieri was sued by a former business associate. He was also arrested for bouncing a $215,000 cheque to a PR firm in April.
