Lance Armstrong has refused to speak about his relationship with Kate Hudson in a TV interview.
The cyclist accepted that people would be curious about the romance, but refused to answer questions on the subject.
"I know you have to ask that question...and it's my right not to answer it," he said on The View.
"When you're happy about something or proud about something, it's natural and human nature to talk about it. If you don't eat two bags of potato chips everyday, you're proud of it."
He added: "No, I'm not going to answer [the question]."
Armstrong and Hudson have been spotted together at various public events including a charity bike ride in Toronto last weekend.
