The Rock: 'Anne Hathaway is vulgar'

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has revealed that Anne Hathaway has a "vulgar" sense of humour.

According to WENN, Hathaway told a joke on the Get Smart set that shocked Johnson.

"She can be vulgar and I love that," he said.

Hathaway explained that her insistence on telling a risqué joke was down to her desire to bond with co-stars Johnson and Steve Carell.

She said: "I just finished making a movie (Bride Wars) with Kate Hudson and I was kind of in oestrogen-land and I didn't mind testosterone-ville.

"I came in about three weeks into filming so I think, by that point, the guys had a camaraderie. All of a sudden I was the girl on set, so everyone went out of their way to be polite to me.

"I just thought, this isn't going to work, we're not going to have any fun. I decided to tell the dirtiest joke I could think of just to put everyone at ease... Steve blushed."
