Walsh: 'Keith Richards is a space cadet'

Starsailor singer James Walsh has described Keith Richards as a "proper space cadet".

Walsh, who has supported the Rolling Stones on two tours, said the guitarist is "really forgetful".

He told Teletext: "I was chatting to their tour manager John, and Keith says to him, 'Are you the drummer from Simple Minds?'

"John's like, 'No, I've been your tour manager for ten years!' And Keith's just 'Oh, s**t, yeah. Hi, John!'"
