Carl Barat rushed to hospital

Dirty Pretty Things frontman Carl Barat was rushed to hospital yesterday after complaining of stomach pains, NME reports.

A spokesperson for the rocker confirmed that Barat was taken to hospital and diagnosed with acute pancreatitis.

He will remain under observation until the weekend and may undergo surgery.

Dirty Pretty Things have been forced to postpone their Real Fits charity show, which was scheduled to take place at the London Hackney Round Chapel on Friday.
