Huq "worried" about Afghanistan trip

Ex-Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq has revealed that she is "worried" about going to Afghanistan to film a documentary.

Huq, who will fly out to the war zone to front a programme for the BBC's Lifeline appeal, told the Daily Express: "I'm really not sure I want to get on this plane.

"I'm supposed to be going to Afghanistan and I'm dreading it. Well, no, I'm not dreading it, I think it'll be amazing, but the preparation was pretty nerve-wracking.

"I had to do this hostile environment course at the weekend and you had to take lessons in case of kidnapping and it does make you worried."
