McAvoy misses Scottish cuisine

James McAvoy has revealed that he misses Scottish food.

When asked by the Daily Record what he missed the most about his hometown Glasgow, the actor replied: "Food. Square sausage."

"We have a thing called square sausage in Glasgow which is exceptional. But nobody else outside of Glasgow likes it. I miss watching my home football team play, Celtic Football Club.

"I miss my family and friends totally. It's got a good vibe, Glasgow. Glasgow thinks it's really big and it's not but it feels like it's really big."

McAvoy recently admitted that he finds doing his own cooking "an absolute joy".

His new film Wanted will be released on June 27.
