Thornton denies Jolie remarks

Billy Bob Thornton has denied claiming that ex-wife Angelina Jolie is going through a "high school phase" with partner Brad Pitt.

AskMen last week quoted the actor-turned-musician as saying: "[She's] dating the quarterback of the football team with Brad Pitt over there. She'll be waking up from that dream in no time."

However, his spokesperson insisted that none of the statements attributed to Thornton were said. AskMen has since removed the story from its website.

The couple divorced in 2003 after three years of marriage.
